The Poor Girl!

A mother sent this in a letter to her daughter's school:
"Please excuse our daughter, she has been sick and under the doctor ."
Explanation: Of course, this student was "under the doctor's care". To be "under the doctor"
means the doctor is on top of the poor girl. That would NOT be a good situation. Sometimes, one missing word
can be so important! (^_^)
