Learner's Mistake Two
"N" or "M"?
|
A student wrote:
"Hello. I studied with you when I was a child in the sane school. I hope you remember me.."
Explanation: The word "sane" means "not crazy". Does this mean he studied as a child in a school
where the children were not crazy? But, did he go to another school later? Maybe he went to an "insane
school"! I certainly hope not. Of course, he wanted to write, "the same school". A small mistake can make
a big difference! (^_^)
