Riddle Eight: Does More Equal Less?

Question: What five-letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?
Hint: Don't think of the actual meaning of the words. Try to think of another way to read the question.
After you think about it, look at the bottom of the page for the answer...
Answer: Short .
Explanation: The word "short" does not become SMALLER when two letter are added, but if you add "er" at the
end of "short" it becomes "shorter". Got it?
