"She who laughs last,
laughs best!"

"Laughter is the
best medicine."

"Laugh and the world laughs with you, trip over a big bag of garbage and fall on the sidewalk breaking a bone or two and you fall alone!"

Riddle Nine: A Special Car?

Question: What has four wheels and flies?

Hint: This joke includes a word that can be both a verb and a noun. Can you find that key word? After you think about it, look at the bottom of the page for the answer...

Answer: A garbage truck

Explanation: When we read this riddle, we think "flies" is a verb. An airplane flies, but it only has three wheels. Cars have four wheels but they don't fly. Garbage trucks don't fly, either, but they have many small insects called flies (a noun!) all around them as they carry the garbage away. Got it?
