Challenging Riddle One: Mute or Blind?

Question: There is a mute man (a man who cannot speak) who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done. Now, if there is a blind man (a man who cannot see) who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself? ?

Hint: This is not actually a very challenging riddle, so you get no hint. Just figure it out using your own "brain power"! After you think about it, look at the bottom of the page for the answer...

Answer: He just has to open his mouth and ask. He's blind, not mute.

Explanation: This riddle fools people (it makes them guess wrong) because it "leads" our brains to think about someone imitating an action. After we think about the mute person imitating the act of brushing his teeth, we forget that he HAD TO DO THAT, because he is mute. So, when we think about the blind man, we focus more on the sunglasses and how to act out using them. In the end, it's not that difficult! Now be honest - did you think about how to act out using sunglasses?
