Funny English Video Three
"Drowned Sorrows"

(These videos are best viewed with Internet Explorer.)
This video shows England's Mr. Bean with his American friend. I believe Mr. Bean has recently destoryed a painting worth 50 million dollars and his friend expects to lose his job and probably go to jail because of it. But Mr. Bean's friend is still a true friend and cannot be disloyal to Mr. Bean. They go out to "drown their sorrows" in a few drinks (well, maybe more than a few!) and then start singing.

The first song is called "Yesterday". It's interesting that Mr. Bean mainly waits for the key word "Suddenly". That seems to be his favorite part of the song! Then, when his friend sadly sings "There's a shadow hanging over me", Mr. Bean is right there behind him, like a big, dark shadow!

The second song is an old folk song called "Row, row, row your boat". The usual lyrics are "Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily (happily), merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream". Mr. Bean and his friend change the second part to "If you see a crocodile, don't forget to scream"!

Enjoy this short video. We will see how Mr. Bean saves his good friend's job in the next video!
