Thirty or forty years ago, many young people travelled around the United States by hitchhiking - they just walked
along the road and put out their thumbs as if to say "Are you going my way?" and some people would pick them
up and "give them a lift" at least part way to their destination (where they want to go). Sometimes, however, the
friendly-looking person trying to "hitch a ride" turned out to be thief or even a killer.
In this commercial, the person looking for a ride has a big axe (a tool for cutting down trees) in his hand. He looks
like a killer in so many horror movies! Of course,
nobody should pick him up. The driver of the car, however, notices he not only has an axe, he also has a case of
beer in his hands. Well, if he has beer, then we should pick him up, shouldn't we? His wife disagrees, but the
husband wins the first argument
In the end they see another hitchhiker, this time with a chainsaw in his hand! Another typical horror movie killer.
Of course, he too is carrying beer. What should they do?
