Funny English Video Eleven
"Comedian Conductor"

(These videos are best viewed with Internet Explorer.)
This video shows a very skilled classical musician named Victor Borge who became more famous as a comedian. Two words related to music and entertaining that you should learn are "ovation" and "score". An ovation is the loud applause (clapping and cheering) of the audience. A score is the musical notes written down on paper. Victor Borge tells them the performance, called The Dance of the Comedians, will start as soon as the ovation "dies down" (stops). However, there was only a little applause from the audience. Then, he does some crazy things with the score.

Enjoy!
